What it is: A copper cathode is the final, pure product of the copper refining process, either through pyrometallurgical (smelting) or hydrometallurgical (SX-EW) methods. It is the primary form of traded copper and the raw material for manufacturing copper rods, wires, tubes, and alloys.

Origin: Sourced from established and reputable mines within Tanzania’s prolific African Copper Belt, which extends into the country. Our operations and partnerships are primarily in the regions of Mbeya, Kigoma, and Arusha.

Standard: We supply Grade A Electrolytic Copper Cathodes conforming to the international ASTM B115-00 standard or the BS EN 1978:1998 (Cu-CATH-1) standard. This denotes the highest purity level of 99.99% pure copper.
